What are the types of wave functions

Different types of wave equation

1. For every particle that moves in a conservative force field, there is a wave function that determines all information about the system.
2. For every physical observable q there is an associated operator Q which, acting on the wave function, gives the unique value of the observable times the wave function.
3. Every operator Q associated with a physically measurable quantity q will be Hermitian.
4. The set of eigenfunctions of the operator Q, forms a complete set of linearly independent functions.
5. For a system described by a given wave function, the expectation value of a property q can be obtained by taking the integral for the expectation value with the wave function.
6. The time course of the wave function is given by the time-dependent Schrödinger equation.
