After ordering, where can I find the ticket on my mobile phone?
In the case of an SMS order (not available in all regions), the ticket is in your SMS memory. If you order via the app (Java, Android, iPhone or Blackberry), your ticket is located in the respective application under the item "Purchased tickets". If you have ordered the ticket via our mobile website, you will find the ticket here under "Purchased tickets" after registration. As an alternative, you can also save the displayed "2D barcode" as an image locally on your mobile phone.
How do I behave in a control?
Please show the mobile phone with the ticket shown on the display and the control medium that you used for identification when you registered.
How do I order the remaining journeys of my multi-journey ticket?
(Multi-trip HandyTickets are not available in all regions.)
When you order a multi-trip ticket for the first time (e.g. 4-trip ticket), a multi-trip ticket is stored in the system for you, the first section (s) of which is / are validated as a ticket according to your ticket request and is / are immediately valid. Each time a multiple-trip ticket is ordered, the system checks, regardless of the order method, whether there are still sections available on a multiple-trip ticket that has already been paid for. Multi-trip HandyTickets are not available in all regions. If this is the case, the available sections are always used before a new multi-trip ticket (e.g. 4-trip ticket) is issued. The number of trips already ordered is shown on the ticket so that you always know how many trips are still available from your multi-trip ticket.
What happens if my battery runs out or I lose my phone?
If you are unable to show a HandyTicket during a ticket inspection, the inspector, if he has the appropriate technology, CAN use the number of the control medium specified during registration to check whether valid tickets are stored in the system. However, in accordance with our terms and conditions, the transport company can demand an increased transport amount from you.
If you do not have your control medium with you, the HandyTicket is NOT valid, even if you can show it.
When is my HandyTicket valid?
The ticket is valid immediately upon receipt. As a rule, the ticket should be on your mobile phone within 30 seconds.
Can I cancel or withdraw a ticket order?
No, HandyTickets cannot be canceled.
How is the billing done?
When registering, you can choose between direct debit, credit card and the prepaid method. With the prepaid method, you pay in an amount of at least 20 euros in advance and can then use it up ticket by ticket. With the direct debit or credit card procedure, the debit is automatic.
How do I get my ticket back after changing my phone number?
The SMS tickets (not available in all regions) are not affected by a phone number change, as they are valid immediately. HandyTickets that were ordered using the HandyTicket program (app) can be found in the application under the item "Purchased tickets" and are therefore not affected by changing the SIM card.
What should I do if I haven't received a ticket after ordering?
In the HandyTicket program (app), please check under "Purchased tickets" whether the ticket has been saved (use the "Update" function). If it is not displayed and there is also no connection problem, your order request has not been received in the system. Please repeat the order.
The delivery of SMS tickets (SMS tickets are not available for all regions) can fail for various reasons (e.g. dead zone). If you ordered by phone and heard the announcement of success, your ticket is on file. Do not order the ticket again, but contact the hotline! If you have ordered by SMS, only your hotline can determine whether the SMS you have sent or the ticket sent by the system has not reached its destination.
Is a HandyTicket transferable?
The HandyTicket is not transferable. However, you can buy a HandyTicket for other people accompanying you.
What does a HandyTicket cost?
A HandyTicket costs just as much as at the ticket machine and in sales points, in some regions even less than with the bus driver. In the Nuremberg region (VGN), the price of a single ticket for the HandyTicket is the same as for a corresponding trip with the multi-journey ticket. In general, there are additional costs for data communication (HandyTicket program (app)) or SMS according to your mobile phone contract. Parking tickets in Plauen are more expensive with a comfort surcharge than at a machine.
What will happen to my data?
We guarantee careful handling of your personal data, which of course we will not pass on to third parties. You can find our comprehensive provisions on data protection under the link data protection in your web portal.
How do I get a printable proof of a ticket purchase, e.g. B. for travel expense reports or tax returns?
You can make a setting in your web portal (Internet) so that the monthly sales report provided there is sent to you by e-mail.
You can also view all tickets purchased in the last six months on the web portal under My Tickets and issue and print out a (collective) receipt.
