Check the Apple ID device list to see which devices you're signed in to

Here you can find out which devices are shown in your Apple ID device list, how you can view the details of the devices and how to remove a device.

Check where you are signed in

Follow the steps below to view the devices that you are currently signed in to with your Apple ID.

Use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to see where you're signed in

  1. Tap Settings> [your name], then scroll down.
  2. Tap a device name to view information about that device, e.g. B. View device model, serial number, OS version, and whether the device is trusted and can be used to obtain Apple ID verification codes. The information may vary depending on the device type. You may need to answer security questions to view device details.

Use your Mac to see where you're signed in

  1. Choose the Apple menu ()> System Preferences.
  2. Click on "Apple ID".
  3. Click a device name to view information about that device, such as the device model, serial number, and OS version. The information may vary depending on the device type. You may need to answer security questions to view device details.

Use your PC to see where you are logged in

  1. Open iCloud for Windows.
  2. Click on Account Details, then click Manage Apple ID.
  3. Click a device name to view information about that device, such as the device model, serial number, and OS version. The information may vary depending on the device type.

Use the internet to see where you are logged in

The "Devices" section of the Apple ID account page shows which devices you are currently signed in to with your Apple ID:

  1. Sign in to the Apple ID account page *, then scroll down to Devices.
  2. If you don't see your devices right away, click View Details and answer your security questions.
  3. Click a device name to view information about that device, such as the device model, serial number, and OS version. The information may vary depending on the device type.

* Depending on how you created your Apple ID, you may need to provide additional information.

Add a device to the list

To add a device to the list, you need to sign in with your Apple ID. As soon as you sign in to a device with your Apple ID, the device will appear in the list. You have to register here:

  • iOS 9 and later: Sign in to iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, the iTunes or App Store, or the Game Center with your device. You can also see your paired Apple Watch there.
  • iOS 8: Sign in to iCloud or the iTunes Store and App Store on your device. You can also see your paired Apple Watch there.
  • OS X Yosemite and later, or Windows 10 and later: Sign in to iCloud on the device.
  • Apple TV HD or later: Sign in to the iTunes Store and App Store on your device.
  • Apple TV (3rd generation) and later: Sign in to the iTunes Store on your device.
  • If you're using devices with earlier versions of iOS, OS X, or tvOS, those devices won't appear in the device list.

Your AirPods will appear in the Find My app. but not in your Apple ID device list. With "Where is?" you can remove your AirPods from your account.

Remove a device from the list

If you've lost your device, you can use the Find My app. to find your device and take other measures that can help you get your device back and keep your data protected. If you no longer use your device or if you don't know a device, you should delete it from the list.

When you set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID, removing a device will ensure that verification codes can no longer be displayed. The device also won't have access to iCloud and other Apple services, including Find My, until you sign in with two-factor authentication again. The device will no longer appear in the list unless you sign in again.

Use your Mac to remove a device

  4. Read the message that appears and click again to confirm that you want to remove the device.

If you're still signed in with your Apple ID on the device, it may reappear on your account page the next time the device connects to the Internet. To permanently remove the device from your account page, log out of iCloud, iTunes or App Store, iMessage, FaceTime and Game Center on that device, or delete the device.
